Ailish Layden
Intensive English Instructor
Ailish is an Irish female with 20 years鈥� experience teaching English as a Second Language. She holds a Master's degree in TESOL and a Cambridge English teaching accreditation qualification. She has taught ESL around the world, including in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and now North America. She moved to Seattle in 2023 and has been working at Green River since 2024. Over the years, she has taught a variety of age groups and mixed-cultural classes, and she has successfully prepared students for the IELTS and Cambridge exams.
She is passionate about creating a communicative and engaging classroom environment where learning is student-centered and enjoyable. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and visiting archaeological sites.
